Our Family History Helpdesk at Manchester Central Library has reopened and we look forward to meeting our visitors and members again. We are continuing to offer the Virtual Helpdesk, which helped many people throughout the pandemic restrictions but, from the 1st October 2021, this will revert to being a privilege of membership, for members only. Please remember that, just like at our physical Help Desk, we limit our assistance to advice and guidance in order for you to continue with your own family history research. We cannot do your family history research for you.

For your enquiry, please be clear and concise and supply us with as much information as possible in order for us to assist you. Names, dates and place names are imperative.
